A Fun little romp.
It was a cute game.
the squid sorter is so hard
FRUIT SORTER LETS GOOOO
@npinsker Is there more text if you get a perfect 1,000,000 in Rhythm Tappo?
(There's a guy/NPC who says he got a perfect 1,000,000 so I'm wondering if he has more dialogue if I also get a perfect score)
Nothing, unfortunately :( We had some more dialogue ideas but ran out of time.
ah (Oh yeah if you're ever going to update the game you should know that the last round/3rd round of Skunklass Counter is broken. You can win every time. I got 1 as my score and it said I won)
(that's intentional! -- you're supposed to think you lost since it's impossibly hard, but then you win)
Smart and cute. Well done!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
How far did people make it in the sorting game? I ended with a 136
I got a 160
I really enjoyed this!! The music, art, concept, everything.
Fun and cute. I'm not sure of what to do after getting the lock's power/game made.
That's the end of the game unfortunately!
Oh okay, because I couldn't find any the-end screen. Maybe one being added at the door if you could leave the building after that would be fitting.
knowi am late to this but it is great!
u think ur late
This was so much fun! I think Duck Counter was the hardest and took me a few tries. My favorite was Rhythm Tappo, I was able to get S rank! (Song was amazing, by the way.) I also somehow managed to score over 100 in Fruit Sorter. Wonderful game, great job!
I didn't understand how to complete the game. I beated the three arcade games, but nothing happened.
Once you beat the three arcade games, did you also beat each Arcade King at their game? If so, examine the lock in the corner afterwards to see the ending.
There’s a bug in the game right now that occasionally causes a softlock, which you might have run into. Sorry about that :( You can avoid the softlock with these two steps:
- Beat the Rhythm King (blue slug) before the Sorting King (octopus in cup)
- Don’t talk to the Sorting King after beating him
Sorry again — we didn’t really have enough time to polish that part enough. Thanks for playing our game though! :)
Such a great game! I really loved the art style in the game and the concept. I found the Ducky Counter really challenging. Overall a very fun and challenging game, keep up the great work :D
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
I would pay money for this.
omg skunk tapper was so hard on the first try but i won so i pressed the space bar randomly and it was just luck
Lol same XD
I love this game! it was so creative and fun. Rhythmn Tappo was my favorite.
This is a really great game. I beat Skunk Tapper on my first try, I don't know how.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
You're right, there's a small bug right now that causes you to always win the Rhythm Tappo fight regardless of your score. (It might be a blessing in disguise, since the fight is probably too hard as is.) We'll upload a fixed version after the jam's over.
This game is so much fun! And the song on Rhythm Tappo is incredible. Fantastic job
